Earlier this week our students were helping spruce up some of our flower beds in front of our school. While pulling up some weeds there sure were A LOT of roots. What a great “teachable” moment as they say. The students returned back to the YIT School Farm, and began discussing the different root systems. Rhizomes, bulbs, tubers, corms, and tuberous roots.
